Presented here is a set of double-stained diaphonized rat specimens, each processed using a soft red bone stain. This stain produces a gentler, more subtle coloration than traditional deep-red diaphonized specimens, while still providing strong definition in the ribs, spine, and developing limbs. The cartilage stain remains a vivid blue, offering clear contrast at the growth plates and joints.

These young rats display excellent anatomical visibility — the multiple vertebrae, the forming sternum, and the delicate limb bones all stand out cleanly.
