Dark Blue Rats in Wide 2xExtra Tall Vial

Dark Blue Rats in Wide 2xExtra Tall Vial
Presented here is a pair of dark-blue double stained diaphonized young rats housed in a wide extra-tall laboratory vial. The bone stain on these specimens is exceptionally rich and saturated, producing a darker blue tone than classic double stains. This deeper coloration enhances the visibility of the skull, vertebrae, and limb bones while still maintaining the contrasting bright cartilage regions throughout the joints.
Because these rats are at an early developmental stage, the cartilage stain appears prominently between each vertebra, along the rib joints, and throughout the developing limbs. These blue growth plates illustrate the soft areas where ossification would occur as the animals matured. The combination of dark bone stain and vivid cartilage creates a dramatic and visually striking presentation.
