This piece here is quite unique. Part of the face has been left on the specimen during processing, which gives the specimen a creepy vibe as if it’s wearing a mask of its own skin. The ears have also been left on for processing.

Though the preparation to leave parts of the skin on throughout processing was experimental, the results yielded a Nighttime Nicholas quality double stain that you know can be trusted.

This laboratory style specimen display vial has been permanently closed to ensure there will be no leakage or diffusion of liquid over time - so there will be no need to replace, refill, or replenish the liquid inside.

*note that the lid of this vial is askew, though does not affect how the specimen is observed.
